We make a conscious point of not publishing any details about our clients, including company names, purely on the basis of security. We are able to provide one-to-one personal introductions and client references, where appropriate security measures have been undertaken.
Established in Cambridge in 1999, Softwerx has been a Microsoft Gold Partner for over twenty years. Throughout that time, Softwerx has had a specific focus on Microsoft infrastructure, security and compliance.
Meet the Team
Here's an introduction to some of our core team:
David joined Softwerx in 2009 as Managing Director, having built and led a number of Microsoft Partnership businesses to success, through to acquisition or sale. David has led Softwerx (originally SysAdmins) from a small and generic IT support business, to be the leading Microsoft Cloud Security Practice in the UK, growing on average at 20% per annum. David holds a number of Microsoft accreditations, as well as an ONC in Telecommunications and an MBA from Durham University.
Adriaan Bekker has been with Softwerx since 2002, during which time he has built up a deep understanding of our business and how we can most effectively help our clients. He has over 20 years’ experience working with Microsoft and over 10 years’ experience at C-Level. His extensive experience, together with having completed both IT and business degrees, means he has the insight and ability to successfully bridge the gap between technical, commercial and compliance requirements. He ensures our clients’ businesses stay secure in an ever changing landscape.
Technical Service Manager
Darren joined Softwerx in 2013 as a Senior Technical Engineer and quickly progressed to become the Microsoft Technical Services Manager. Darren has over 15 years' experience in the IT Sector, starting life as a Helpdesk Support Engineer. Today, Darren heads up the Microsoft Technical Support Centre at Softwerx, providing leadership and technical input to a dedicated support team.
Technical Programme Manager
Matt joined Softwerx in 2010 with a proven track record in design, implementation and support of Microsoft enterprise applications and operating systems. Matt oversees the roadmap and feature definition for our services by employing a wealth of product knowledge and experience from over 20 years in the managed services industry. During his time at Softwerx Matt has successfully supported or managed service, implementation and sales teams placing him in a unique position to understand customer requirements and match these to product capabilities and employee training requirements.
